Connie O'Brien
Connie O'Brien is a well-known Island artist living and working in Charlottetown.
While largely self-taught, she has studied with outstanding North American artists such as Brian Atyeo, Linda Kemp, Stephen Quiller, Charles Reid, and Mike Svob.
O'Brien works with oil, acrylic, and watercolour and returns often to her special love of collage/mixed media. Themes in her current series include boats, birds, woodlands, and buildings of her surrounding landscape.
O’Brien’s works have been shown in galleries in all three Maritime Provinces, and her paintings have found homes across Canada, the U.S., and Europe.
